How to Make CBD Edibles

by Dec 22, 2019Product Education

Looking for a way to make CBD edibles at home? Here’s a few ideas (and recipes) you can try! We hope you enjoy them.

One of the greatest advantages to creating your own home-made edibles is that you can choose which recipe to use and how much CBD to include, truly customizing your CBD edibles experience.

First, you will need to have made (or purchased) your own CBD butter, or CBD infused oil. CBD oil is an extremely versatile substance that can be mixed into virtually and kind of food. Simpler ideas include adding a few drops to your morning smoothie, or adding a few drops to your salad dressings, or on top of sweet snacks like chocolates, lollipops or ice cream.

Once you get the oil ready, the next thing to do is choose your recipe. There are literally hundreds of recipes you can use to make CBD edibles online. We’ve included links to our guides for some of the most popular CBD edibles below.

CBD Recipe Ideas

Here are a few more ideas for CBD recipes you can experiment with at home.

(Remember not to heat your CBD above 356 degrees Fahrenheit):

  1. Use CBD oil in sauces when serving pasta (particularly with cream sauces),  or any other oil based sauce like salad dressing.
  2. Use CBD infused butter for your potatoes, toast, or even on popcorn.
  3. Use CBD to sauté vegetables, or add it to make oven-baked chips.
  4. Add CBD to drinks, even alcoholic concoctions, including brewing your own beer.
  5. Add CBD to spicy cuisine like Indian or Thai curry to mask the flavor.

It’s a good idea to start with very small amounts when you’re first experimenting with CBD oil in the kitchen as the flavor can be quite strong. And don’t forget to get creative and have fun!
