Getting To Know A Little Bit More About Dr. Doner:

"The main reason why I became a doctor is that I am very passionate about helping people both feel better and get better. Feeling better is a third of the battle, actually getting better is the other two-thirds."

Practicing Medicine With Compassion

If you do a quick online Google search on Dr. Bryan Doner, you'll find a couple of hundred articles and publications exalting his achievements. Here is what Dr. Doner had to say when we asked him to give us a detailed look into what Practicing Medince With Compassion actually looks like.

Here is his response...

"First things first, address the stress! I always like to spend the first few minutes talking to them more as a friend rather than their Doctor. Daily life can be chaotic and visiting a doctor can be somewhat stressful for some patients, so that's the first thing I focus on.

Next, I ask for a thorough explanation about why they came in today. Once I have a strong grasp of the symptoms the patient is dealing with, I then will ask them a series of questions, usually around 20-30, sometimes more. The questions I ask are specifically tailored for me to learn as much as I possibly can about the patient so that I can create a more effective treatment plan.

For example, I want to know where my patients were born and where they currently reside. This allows me to better understand their past but more importantly, I get a clearer picture of their daily exposure to any harmful third-party environmental factors in their area. I also want to learn about their diet, medical history, their family's medical history, and exercise routines. All of this information should be considered vital when creating a treatment plan.

At the end of the day, my aim is to immediately offer more targeted solutions to give my patients the symptomatic relief that they are looking for but more importantly, find and target the internal issue that caused the symptoms in the first place."
